Thom Sweeney, Saville Row, London

Thom Sweeney is a leading British luxury brand with an international reputation. Clients Thom Whiddett and Luke Sweeney approached our practice in late 2024 to expand their London townhouse store off Saville Row.

The new boutique extension needed to align with their luxury brand and have a blend of classic materials applied in a modern way. We worked closely with renowned interior designer Billy Cotton to produce a design which was inspired by British deco yachting life. The architecture has a visual sense of layering from the street, through the building to its rear terrace, allowing it to feel public but within its interior very private and exclusive.

The scheme which is housed in former art gallery spaces has a new internal connection to the townhouse. It features a front retail space, rear lounge, fitting rooms and a middle of plan staff kitchen and storage room. There is a front terrace facing Old Burlington St and a private rear terrace.
